When a company administrator logs in to the Time Off page the Calendar displays all employee time off requests for the current month. Each request will display in a different color based on the type of time off request. A color key for the time off policy types will be displayed at the bottom of the page below the calendar. 

If there is a large number of requests on the same day, not all requests will automatically display but can be easily accessed by selecting the +2 more, +3 more, +4 more, etc., option at the bottom of the calendar day. 

The current day will always be highlighted with a light green background. 

Holidays will always be highlighted with a light pink background to easily identify company-provided holidays. These can be edited on the Time Off > Holidays page. 

The employee's name can be selected to view their HRIS > Time Off page. This page displays each policy the employee is eligible for and the current balance of hours for each policy for the current policy year. 

All requests made by the employee or entered on behalf of the employee will be listed at the bottom of the page. These requests can be updated by a company administrator or a manager by clicking Edit. This option may be used if an employee's vacation is later extended and the START DATE or END DATE may need to be adjusted. 

The Calendar is also visible to managers and employees in their Time Off > Calendar page. Managers will only see time off requests entered by their direct reports. Employees will only see time off requests in the calendar for any of their team members that also report to the same manager. 

Use the toggle buttons at the top-right of the Calendar page to view previous or upcoming months time off requests.
