I think that being able to open and close enrollment based on each specific plan would be more beneficial than locking and unlocking a specific employee. Several employers have different benefit renewal dates for different policy's , which means open enrollment and new hire enrollments conflict. Adding the ability to open enrollment for only specific plans would make this not an issue anymore.
I agree. Otherwise when we unlock the employees can change other benefits that aren't participating in the same Open Enrollment period.
This is a feature that will be coming in late Q3 or early Q4 to handle these different plan renewal situations.
